I've been claim free for 20 years. When I did claim, it was so difficult on a claim for water damage that I gave up. I will never deal with Esure again.

Unbelievably Esure do not seem to have any approved contractors to carry out insurance repairs. They just want to write a cheque. This is fine if you have minor damage or know a good contractor. What happens when a car hits your house and causes several thousand pounds worth of damage? Answer - find your own builder and they'll send a cheque.
