The compact and budget sports Civic Hatchback, the Honda Civic SIR, with its racing interior and sleek exterior, has a reputation for super handling, comfort plus a solid chassis and body.
SIRs were and still remain great quality and bargain vehicles. Good models continue to be snapped up on the second hand market when they become available. The Civic SIR has often been compared very favourably alongside the popular Mini Cooper S and VW Golf GTI 1.8T.
Remember, the Honda Civic SIRs are smaller than similar Hot Hatches with two doors. The later Civic hatchbacks were often described as heavier and slower. But the SIR, which was also notable as the first English built Civic to be sold in Canada, had more power and acceleration than the standard Si.
If you’ve owned one of these vehicles, please write a Honda Civic review including any information you think could be helpful. Your Honda Civic reviews could help drivers all around the world make more informed choices.

The Honda Civic is the best looking car in its class - mean and certainly not boring like the Ford Focus etc. I used to have an older smaller car and although I have only driven this 3 times I cant wait to get back in it tomorrow. It has lots of lovely extras like heated seats and dual climate control. The massive wing mirrors compensate totally for the lack of rear view, but you can always see if there is a car behind you. I quite like not having to watch other drivers pick their noses. Plus ...

I've had my 2005 Honda Civic for a couple of months and I have to say that it is a very nice car to drive. I traded in a VW Golf Diesel so driving the Civic is a totally different experience. I bought the Civic because I wanted something sportier and had considered an MG ZR. However, I saw the Civic by chance on a forecourt one day and for some reason it said 'take me for a test drive' - so I did - and loved it. The only reason I haven't scored it a ten is because of the turning circle which ...

Oh this car is not much of GTI class, this is much different. Driven todays usage and mild its unusual comfy, easy, quiet and economical. Then it may turn into sort of race machine - loud, fast and very wild. As if it has a split into two pieces in the overall appearance. This is not a whole time GTI when you suffer tough suspension alll the time and the noisy typical 2.0 150 HP powerplant under the bonnet. No - no - no. When want to squeeze this car hard the b18c4 engine along with limited ...
