I had their savings account for over 5 years. There had been no incident and I was relatively happy with them. I even recommended their service to few of my friends. THEN...the problems began. I called ING to link a new checking account to the Orange Savings account. Answered security questions just to initiate my call. Then was transferred to another agent who was supposed to help me with the linking. She asked me more security questions - this time the questions did not pertain to me at ...

I have been with ING Direct since 2003 when they were offering 2.3% for savings and we were getting .75% from B of A. They kept their word. Interest rates went up as the economy did and then started dropping as the economy went into the trash. Remember, when Bush took office, gas was $1.46 per gallon. Their interest on savings, checking and CDs has been consistently higher than other banks unless you had some huge amount on deposit. They have no minimum amount for their rates. Their main claim ...
