The Black Prince cruise ship is in many peoples views a good ship, however maybe this is because it has not come across that the people commenting are at an elderly age. As I do not fall into that category I found the ship to be plain boring lacking in variety of activities each day, for example everyday the same activities were on at the same time and nothing different was offered. Item: Thompson Destiny
Having come off the mariner of the seas in November the Destiny was complete rubbish, we will not go on a Thompson cruise again

I was a little worried as I had heard some bad reviews but once on board the staff were friendly and everything is about Fun. It is not a huge shop on board but can compensate by shopping on the islands that you visit. The spa and salon looked lovely, yet I didn't use it. This was the best experience of my life and I have been abroad a lot, you just cant beat this everyone on this boat were top drawer no kid. 7 days was not long enough. True bliss

Med Cruise 4th Nov to 18th Nov 08The ship is old and very tired and should either have a complete overhaul, or possibly be used again as a car ferry.There were six in our party and we all had balcony rooms, we were disappointed in the quality of these rooms and the size of the balconies. The shore excursions were poor value for money, and any complaints were not followed up as promised, On a plus side the staff made up a lot for the deficiencies of the ship, Cabin stewards, ...
