Item: Lloyds TSB Home Insurance
After suffering some roof storm damage in early November I contacted LTSB to get assistance from their Emergency Homeline. What an abysmal waste of time that was! After usual call centre telephone maze and interminable piped music I was finally advised to call a local roofing contractor!

Item: Lloyds TSB Mobile Phone Insurance
This is my second claim. My first claim went on for nearly 3 months, promises to ring me back did not materialise. In the end I got my excess back and a cash settlement.
My latest claim has been going on a month already. I still do not have a handset and they refuse to accept an independent examination that the phone cannot be repaired. Nor will they send an envelope to return the phone in. All in all very bad.
It may be free with platinum account but I will be cancelling this due to ...

I always insured my cars with LloydsTSB and payed monthly, smiled and looked happy. I had just bought another car and when I went to tax it, I was spoken to by a car insurance person who wanted to sell me their policy. When I told him how much I was paying he was absolutely apalled and came in with a price £500 (yes £500) cheaper! Yeah, yeah I thought but I decided to look around. Steer clear of this service. It might be "free" with a gold account, but I have been wating now 2 weeks for a replacement handset and been told it could be another week before a decision is made.
In my previous insurance (that I paid £7 a month for) I had a new handset within 2 days of my claim going ...

Good explantions and give me a better quote than I had on internet
Much cheaper than any other company and seemed to cover everything I wanted eg old for new cover on my static
