My dog was ill and then had to be put to sleep. I pay my insurance by direct debit, my dog died at the beginning of the renewal time, when I sent my claim through they advised me that because my dog had been treated in the first month of the yearly renewal and had died I still needed to pay the full annual premium £600, they would therefore take this off my vet bill I had sent them which basically meant I owed them money which they said in the circumstances they would not ask me to pay. ...

I've been very satisfied with the ease of making a claim and with the telephone helpline. An excellent service. M&S has paid the vet directly without problem or delay for each claim I've made. They are also one of the few insurance companies which the local vet will accept this arrangement with as other companies can be slow to pay. It made a huge difference not to have to find £800 up front for my animal's care. They are also competitively priced for older animals, and cover lifetime ...

Pet insurace policy has changed. Had no excess before, which was the reason I went with this company, now have an excess of £70, and my premium has went up even with no claims. Pathet

I have been with M&S pet insurance for 4yrs, today I had my new insurance through, I had 0 excess now they have put a £70 excess, plus they have took away £200 prescription food.
I did ring there office but was told its the same for every one.
I have no choice but to stay with M&S as my dog is ill and a new insurance would not cover her.
I would never recommend them again, as I think this is really ...

I unfortunately have claimed several times, as my Labrador has hip and elbow displasia diagnosed at 9 months old, my monthly payments were £12 in first year, the best price for cover I could find, then jumped to £22 last year which was fair enough we had claimed quite a bit, now £28 month, with £70 excess not £50 was previous my dog is only just 2 yrs old, I do not like, or feel comfortable with new underwriters and the claim form is no longer simple, very ...
