Ignore manufacturers instructions for starting the McCulloch Trimmac 210. You only need to press the bulb on the fuel line a maximum of three times otherwise you will flood it, only use half choke even when cold and it should start first time as mine

This McCulloch Gladiator 550 Hedge Trimmer is worth buying. It is light and has reasonably good power. Can be difficult to start. Do not let it run low on petrol.
