Definitely Maybe defined a generation, we have all, including Oasis themselves been hoping the band could repeat this. However unlikely that may be. MG rode the wave of its predecessor and I am sure if released tomorrow would not be held in the same regard. I am extremely pleased to say that the new album from the boys from Manchester is nothing short of genius. I think not many would disagree that it is probably their best album since Morning Glory. Even with the exploration of new 60's melodies, it stil sounds new and fresh, with Liam's voice sending chills down your spine as ever, but who was ever in any doubt that he wouldn't. Oasis are finally back! Previous album was simply not good enough. But this is indeed the sound Oasis has to make: best album after MG, definitely!

Good comeback from the best band in the world, but a little disappointed that there isn't any real anthems but its good old fashioned rock n roll but dont think its as good as Kings Of Leon's new one which to a huge Gallagher fan is a bit

Overall a great album. The more I listen to it, the better it gets. Some great songs on it. New material will always be compared to the Definitly Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory era, which is slightly unfair. Times change and so have Oasis.
Can't wait to hear some of these new songs ...
