Be careful! What I was quoted is not what I was required to pay!
If you get a good premium quoted by a comparison site, the chances are they won't actually stand by it, particularly if you've been a 'previous customer' of the Post Office, which I guess includes many people... and in which case they'll add on about ...

As with all car insurance I made sure I read through the T&C CAREFULLY, and I didn't encounter anything out of the ususal. You shouldn't assume and/or rely on a company to do everything for you.

I called up to make a claim only to be told it wasnt covered as it was a portable device. ok I said but can I upgrade my insurance to make sure it included laptop mobile and new ipod. this was done and our premium went up by about £60. A few days ago my darling daughter put a hole in my laptop with the docking station of my shuffle (closed the lid on it) I called up to make a claim only ...

I got Post Office Travel Insurance for a recent holiday to Spain with some friends. I've never been into the whole holiday insurance thing - generally I've stuck with the notion that "it can't possibly happen to me".That said, the last thing I wanted was to be stuck in Spain with illness/injury etc. Plus my policy covered me for lost luggage, which was good bearing in mind the fiasco with BA and their luggage disaster (which was in full swing at the time).Suffice it to say, I didn't ...
