DO NOT INSURE WITH THE RAC.
Agree with someone else's comment identifying the RAC are great for breakdown but they should stop there. I was in a non-fault accident while insured with the RAC and they settled despite me requesting they fight the case. They said it was not in there best interests to fit the case (cheaper to settle!) Nevermind my best interests eh!! I took it to the Insurnace Ombudsman who investigated the RAC and agreed they were in the wrong and instructed them to reinstate ...

My car was stolen and has not been recovered as yet, phoned the claims line and spoke to a lovely young lady. That was 4 weeks ago and im still waiting for the loss adjuster to forward my statement. My advice is don't use RAC for
