Good Points: Up to date. Easy to do things with your account such as transfers.
Bad Points: Login could be quicker. Cannot change address.
General comments: Generally good to use for everyday and better than going through bank statements!

Tried several online banks- Natwest online is by far the best - makes up for the insulting interest rate on current accounts.

Seems fairly safe. Once you are logged in it is fairly easy to mange your account. Availability is good, never had a problem.
Change in security feature, once I am logged in (the system should know that I am who I am) I can't add a credit card nor change a Standing Order. I need some kind of external security device, which I don't have nor know how to get.
Good Service, easy to understand. Easy transition between 3 sub accounts. Would like to see my Credit Card balance too.

I would like to know why sometimes I now have to queue for about 20 minutes just to get some natwest banking bags and then they only give me about 4 when we use about 7 a day sometimes and when I ask for some more I get told you cant, when they used to give you a whole batch full.
I also used to be able to queue up at the front desk to get a bag stamped which is a 5 second job but now I also have to queue for at least 10 minutes and they also never seem to have the fast banking desks open so I ...

Natwest Online banking is quick and easy to use. it only took seconds to set up, unlike other banks where you ahve to wait for a password through the post. generally very impressed.

I can log into Natwest Internet Banking at any time of the day to check my account and to make sure things have gone out and I always have enough money in my accout as I cant drive so I have no way of getting to a branch easy, to check my balance.

I've been with Natwest for over 7 and a half years and they have been good to me. Helped me out when I needed them. As above, the charges are steep but if we don't do something we shouldn't then we won't get charged, simple! Plus, their charges aren't as steep as HSBC. They charge £100 for cash overdrawn and £25 for debit overdrawn! Natwest's easy to use website, online advisor chats and UK call centres are quality things for banks to have. I am very pleased with the service I rece ...

I find that the present access to the account is rather tiresome
I usually get into other bank accounts with user id and a password. I know that security is an issue, but i find it a bit confusing with entering 1st 3rd 5th digits etc twice over plus all of the digits preceding them. I can do it, but sometimes make mistakes and get locked out of my account.
I am a along time OAP,i don't think as quickly as i used to.

NatWest Internet Banking www.natwest.co.uk is overall very good, security is taken quite seriously from what i see. no link at all with any email (natwest policy) so you should always know that any natwest email with a link is a scam. The natwest online banking system is the exact same system as used with RBS.very good.

I have been with Nat West bank for over fifteen years now, but I honestly cannot say that within thoughts fifteen years they have been any good to me, what with charging me for the slightest overdrawing & also for missed payments. I wouldn't so much mind if I was given a small charge but when they charge you £40.00 a time it's just scandalous. And what makes it even more frustrating is that when you complain to them about it you just get some patronizing ponce on the other end of the line ...

I have been with the NatWest Bank since leaving school. I am now 53. I have been exceedingly unhappy with them for several years. I opened alternative accounts in the Royal Bank of Scotland and First Direct. I have just closed the RBS account. I became equally disatisfied with them too. Note: they are in the same Group as Nat West.
First Direct in contrast have been very good so far. The reason I have not closed
my NatWest account is because I plan to claim back their excessive and possibly il ...

It took nearly 3 months and hours of phone calls to get my business mastercard, despite it being approved at early stage. A ridiculous nightmare...!!!! then, you cannot view your business c.card in the same login as the business current account. (unlike personal online banking). A complete inconvenience. Also, no facility to make international transfers from online. I have to go into a branch - in this day and age, come on!!! I am changing my business account and personal accounts to someone els ...

Charges are outrageous, and unlike other banks I have been with you really have to fight them to get any reduction or rebate (even if they are wrong).
My changeover was dealt with very badly and a lot of payments went astray (suppose I should have charged them £35.00 per transaction) but I stuck with them because I wanted a Bank Manager to discuss financial issues with in person. I regret this now as it's all run by a computer - "if the computer says so" it's ok and no point in having a m ...

There is an operational flaw concerning NatWest Internet bank account statements, which the bank has repeatedly been made aware of, but which has not been rectified. Normally, when a payment is made to the credit of an account, there will be no customer-nominated description in the account narrative (either hard-copy or online). However, there is a facility offered to request when paying into an account over the counter a transaction record, which will result in a narrative entry specified by ...

I am truly amazed how NatWest stays in business. They take 2 - 3 weeks to do something that takes anyone else 1 - 2 days. I'm moving bank. For those who like NatWest, it must be that they haven't tried anyone else.
